Got the chance to discuss a number of important issues with Minister Anne Rabbittee at the Oireachtas Autism Committee yesterday.
We must plan now for a July/Summer program, too many families have missed out this year.
I also asked the Minister what lessons we are learning from countries like Malta who are held up as examples of how countries should be implementing policies around Austic persons.
I will look to raise the cost many families are having to find to pay for an assessment of need and ask if the Government will support families in affording these assessments for loved ones.
Finally, I also raised our recent @labour party bill and once again sought the support of the Government once again.
