I had a commencement matter with the Minister for Education on School places in Newbridge and Kildare Town.
In the Ministers absence (She was at Cabinet I was informed), The Minister for State took the debate.
I outlined two of the many cases that worried parents have contacted me on.
What parents want for themselves and their children is certainty.
I was informed that an additional block in the Curragh was been prepared for additional classes as part of Curragh Post Primary School,
The Minister in her reply committed to working with all stakeholders on providing school places for September ‘23.
I sought a further meeting with Oireachtas members like the one facilitated last year.
This is too important for so many families and further and continuing updates are needed.
If you would like a copy of the reply from the Department let me know and I’ll get it to you.
In the meantime if you would like to discuss this matter further, then please get in contact.
